Origin: Mantiqueira de Minas, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Roast: Medium
Profile: Milk chocolate • Roasted almond • Caramel

Description:

Brazilian Highlands is a smooth and comforting single-origin coffee, showcasing the rich sweetness and nutty character for which Brazil’s Mantiqueira region is celebrated.

Grown in the mountainous highlands of Minas Gerais, Mantiqueira de Minas has built a long-standing reputation as one of Brazil’s most respected and highly awarded coffee-growing regions. Its elevation, climate and generations of farming knowledge contribute to coffees known for their balance, sweetness and consistency.

In the cup, expect a rounded and approachable experience. Smooth milk chocolate forms the foundation, followed by roasted almond and a soft caramel sweetness. The result is rich and balanced, with a gentle finish that makes it easy to enjoy.

The region is home to approximately 7,800 producers, with around 90% operating small, independent farms. This coffee brings together carefully selected lots from across these smallholdings, giving smaller growers access to the specialty coffee market while preserving the character and diversity of the region.
