Ethiopia Sidama Miriti is a vibrant and expressive single-origin coffee, showcasing the fruit-forward sweetness and complexity for which Ethiopian coffees are celebrated.
Grown at elevations reaching approximately 2380 metres in Ethiopia’s Sidama region, the cherries develop slowly in the cooler highland conditions. This extended maturation allows greater sweetness and depth to form before the coffee is carefully sun-dried using traditional natural-processing methods.
In the cup, expect a lively and refined experience. Juicy apricot and yellow peach lead the profile, followed by a bright yet smooth citrus acidity. The natural process enhances the coffee’s sweetness and fruit character while maintaining a clean, balanced finish.
This coffee is produced by Karamo Coffee under the leadership of Niguse Gemeda, winner of the 2020 Ethiopian Cup of Excellence. The lot reflects a strong commitment to quality, traceability and collaboration with local farming communities, resulting in a distinctive coffee with clarity, elegance and exceptional fruit character.
